Hoje fomos atacados por uma mulher descontrolada porque andávamos na rua falando em português, eu, meu marido e um amigo nosso, brasileiros nativos falando nossa língua, ela veio gritando que era para nós pararmos de falar nossa língua nativa enquanto estivesse no “País dela”. Até aí tudo bem, mas ela avançou no Gabriel deu um soco no peito dele, nos ameaçou dizendo que marcou nossa cara e que nunca mais era para andarmos naquela rua, quando eu disse que iríamos andar sim, ela veio me atacar e meu marido me segurou pra que ela não encostasse em mim, ELA ENCOSTOU NELE e começou a gritar que ele tinha batido nela, tudo isso porque falávamos português entre amigos. Isso nunca tinha acontecido conosco, nunca achamos que aconteceria até por Londres ser uma capital onde se falam praticamente todas as línguas do mundo, eu fiquei em estado de choque, mal consegui falar, mas tá aí o que aconteceu, espero que eu consiga denunciar essa mulher e que ela nunca mais ataque gratuitamente as pessoas simplesmente por andarem falando sua língua nativa.
Obs: NUNCA falamos com ela, ela se virou e começou a gritar conosco pq estávamos falando português perto dela. Disse ainda que se fosse ao Brasil falaria português (haha tá bom) mas tudo bem, nos falamos inglês com quem fala inglês, entre nós não há sentido.
EDIT 27/01- Ontem fomos até a polícia depois do ocorrido, já fizemos a denúncia e estamos aguardando o andamento. Muito obrigada a todos pela preocupação e pelos comentários bondosos!
Today we have been attacked by a mental woman just because we were speaking in portuguese while walking to the underground. It was me, my husband and our friend, all Brazilians speaking our native language. And this woman start yelling with us because we are not supposed to talk in our native language while we were in “her country”. She attacked my husband, punch him, told us that she marked our faces and we couldn’t walk in that street anymore, then I told her that we are going to walk in that street again she came after me, my husband hold me to protect me from her and she touch him and start saying he hit her (????).
Just because we was talking our native language! I was shocked, I couldn’t even talk, I tried to explain ourselves but I almost couldn’t. This never happened before and I never thought it would, London is a big city, full of all languages, you can hear all the languages when you walk on the street, it’s a touristic city, this is not right. I hope someday this woman pay for it and learn some respect.
Just for the record we speak English with other people but in a group of natives there’s no point. We never talked with her.
EDIT 27/01 – Last night after that happened we’ve been in the police station and we reported her, now we just have to wait… Thanks everyone for your kind words and concerns about us, we know that this is a exception and not everyone is like that.
